This is a brochure that you may use and distribute free of charge, for your patients or clients, for yourself, or for others around you.

I hope to make a small, positive contribution, because especially nowadays, many people experience a great deal of spiritual distress. How can you keep going in the face of growing uncertainty, crisis, chaos and problems, in your own life, in the lives of those around you, and in the world?

You don’t have to wait for help before taking steps forward — you can already begin, even as you wait.

These 4×3 tips are intended for prevention and self-care, as a foundation for a good life and a starting point for overcoming adversity. You could say that life consists of four dimensions: the biological = your body, the psychological = you as a person, the social = your environment, and the spiritual = the highest value, God. For each dimension, there are 3 tips that you can apply in your daily life.

It’s not about getting everything right at once or instant balance, because balance isn’t fixed but always dynamic, and every small step forward is one. Sometimes progress feels like two steps forward and one step back, that’s true in healthcare too, and even then the trend is in the right direction. So don’t be discouraged, but be inspired by these 4×3 tips that you can use every day as a guideline on your way to sufficient or satisfying (mental) health.
